Our extensive grounds are entirely car-free so your children will be free to discover what’s on offer:
Zip wire, tree house, swings, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, trampoline, half court tennis, sports field…and a pedal karting circuit for a bit of fun for kids and adults alike!
There are also giant board games to play in the garden.
At reception we also have a multitude of board games and card games available.
Not to mention the swimming pool and the paddling pool heated to 25 ° (open from 9 am to 8 pm), the mini farm where the children can collect fresh chicken eggs or feed the sheep…
There are also two outings on offer in the summer : Fishing every Tuesday and horse/poney riding.
Relaxing Activities for Mom and Dad…
In our 3 hectares of grounds you can take a quiet stroll, read a book in a hammock under the shade of hundred-year-old trees, or just chill out and sunbathe on one of the many sun loungers by the pool.
Pierre, a professional pilot, offers you weekly flights over the Dordogne valley and its castles, including the world famous holy city of Rocamadour.
You can also take a day trip to discover the volcanoes of the Auvergne with lunch in a mountain hut.
For sporty mums and dads
For those among you who jog, we have a 10 km route starting from the castle which crosses the forest and serves up magnificent panoramas of valleys & castles along the way.
Florent, mountain bike and nature guide, proposes a program of guided mountain bike rides to discover magical and secret places in the countryside…. The bikes are provided. All you have to do is register on the board at reception.
Emilie is passionate about horses and works at the equestrian centre “Equidys” located close by. She will take you for an unforgettable horse riding trek along the banks of the river.
A date for your diary!
Every Monday evening in the summer months we invite you for an aperitif in the shade of the linden trees around the big barbecue area. Bring your picnic, we light up the fire for you to barbecue your meat and we all have dinner together – an evening to get to know each other under the light of the lanterns.
